THOMPSON HAS CAREER NIGHT AT STOCKTON IN USAC COMPETITON

FREMONT, CALIFORNIA (July 20, 2010) – 17 year-old Cody Thompson, a rookie member of the Ron Sutton’s Winner’s Circle development team, showed his amazing progression on asphalt by winning the USAC Young Guns main event and coming home second in the USAC Ford Focus Midgets at Stockton 99 Speedway on Saturday.

Thompson came to RSWC with a strong resume in dirt 600 Micro Sprints.  He drove his way into the program through the shootout last October.

Driving the Southern Rock Ford Focus car, Thompson went from fourth to first to win the Young Guns heat race.
